For the year 2009 ITWIIN intends to recognise and award the work of exceptionally creative women in Italy.

In particular, an award will be given to the best italian female inventor and a second award to the best innovator.

The call is open from 15 February to 15 May 2009.

The ceremony will be held at Circolo della Stampa (Press Society) in Milan the 18th of June. In this occasion, the finalists (6) will show and present their work and prior to the award ceremony a round table with them and relevant speakers will take place on topics such as intellectual property rights and the contribution women may give to the innovation process.
