VIII Business Global Conference+i

11.11.09 – 11.11.2009
"Innovation in red" this year will be the focus of the meeting, with a practical approach to how organisations and societies should open up their innovation processes to new participants.

The Euskalduna Bilbao will host on 11 November (Wednesday) the 8th edition of the congress Business Global Conference (BGC + i), organised by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Trade and Tourism of the Basque Government. This year, the focus of the meeting will be "Innovation in red", with a practical approach to how organisations and societies should open up their innovation processes to new participants. "Crowdsourcing" or "coolhunting" are some of the most novel strategies that show how the participation of consumers or of hunters of tendencies can give outstanding results. Thus, BGC+i will give good examples of successful innovation experiences confirming once more that this trend towards collaborative innovation is now a reality. The Global Business Conference+i is organised by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Trade and Tourism of the Basque Government, the Society for Industrial Promotion (SPRI), the Association of Electronics, Information Technologies and Telecommunications of Spain (AETIC), the Telecommunications Cluster Association of the Basque Country (GAIA) and PMP, organisation focused on knowledge and content management.
