The questions which will be examined and discussed are related to the place of "digital" in art and in creative practice. One could say that creative energy has moved from exploring the interface and navigating in the virtual world to how relationships are evolving through social media. Is there a genre called digital art ? Or is digital everywhere, hence requestioning practice and usage? Are new modes of expression in conflict with the expectations of artistic communities and different audiences? Is the evolution of technologies pushing out the boundaries of emotional engagement? Do existing technologies fulfil the needs of artistic practice, or are artists inventing their own tools? Where do authors' rights stand in the picture?
