The MEDEA Awards 2009 will be the second manifestation of this Awards scheme aimed at encouraging innovation and good practice in the use of media in education.

During 2009 there will be a special Creativity and Innovation Award aimed at specifically recognising entries which are judged by the international panel for judges to be particularly creative and/or innovative.

It will also recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning resources.

These materials will typically be delivered online via the Internet or a virtual learning environment and will be used as an integral part of a programme of study.

These awards are open for project in all education levels. We welcome participation from producers, teachers, academics, support staff and students.
