The international ministerial conference COBISS 2009, which is organised by IZUM (Institute of Information Science) in cooperation with the Slovenian Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, the Slovenian Ministry of Culture and the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will address the following topics:
• accessibility of information on research potentials and results for cooperation
• library information systems for comprehensive creativity overview
• development of library systems
The goal of the conference is to draw attention to the important role of modern library information systems and research information systems for the promotion of creativity and innovation.
All topics are closely related to the "European Year of Creativity and Innovation".
About 400 attendees are expected.
