02.12.09 – 02.12.2009
Cooperation between European regions should be a primary tool for facing the future challenges of the European Union. This cooperation based on good practices exchange will be focused on innovation development, improving the performance of European productive sectors. In that sense, the upcoming European policies and their objectives will play a key role that will also be discussed.

Exchanging good practices between European regions is a primary tool in order to improve the competitiveness of European productive sectors. The main objective of the roundtable is to establish new paths of collaboration between regions and productive sectors, and to line up the objectives of this collaboration with European policies. To that effect, the event will be graced with the presence of representatives of different European Institutions, as well as European productive sectors and regional representatives. And in order to improve competitivenes, we do need to be innovative. Innovation is playing a key role if European Productive Sectors want to build a new market model for a more sustainable economy and avoid some of the economic risks we are facing up recently. We support the European Year of Creativity and Innovation: productive sectors need to reinforce their creativity and innovation to become more competitive and increase their added value.
