The scientist Claudio Cumani will hold a conference about the great European cutting-edge telescopes in XXI century astronomic research, focusing on present and future perspectives.
Professor Cumani has been working since 1993 at ESO (European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere), where he is in charge of the development for control software of optical instruments.
